PLEASE NOTE<\/strong><\/p>\n

To report a death, the following documentation must be sent to the Consulate General by post:<\/p>\n

  1. Original of the act of death,\u00a0duly apostilled by Canadian Authorities. <\/strong>For documents issued in Quebec, please refer to the website of the\u00a0Ministry of Justice of Quebec<\/a>. For information regarding apostilles on documents issued by the provinces of New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador and Nuvavut, please refer to Global Affairs Canada;<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Application for registration<\/a> duly completed;<\/li>\n
  3. Copy of the deceased\u2019s passport.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
