To communicate a marriage \/ civil union it is necessary to send the following documentation to the Consulate General by mail:<\/p>\n

  1. Original of the act of marriage \/ civil union, duly apostilled by Canadian Authorities <\/strong>(please see the list below for the exact\u00a0<\/strong>document required). For documents issued in Quebec, please refer to the website of the\u00a0Ministry of Justice of Quebec<\/strong><\/a>. For information regarding apostilles on documents issued by the provinces of New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador and Nuvavut, please refer to Global Affairs Canada<\/strong><\/a>.<\/li>\n
  2. Application for registration of the marriage<\/a>\/\u00a0civil union<\/a>\u00a0certificate duly completed<\/li>\n
  3. Copy of both passports<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
