The European Union and Canada, in the framework of the Strategic Partnership Agreement (SPA) which aimed at political and sectoral collaboration, launched the call for applications “EU-Canada Youth Transatlantic Civil Society Dialogues”.<\/p>\n
The aim is to make young Europeans and Canadians more involved in bilateral political processes through a platform where important civil society organisations can exchange information and experiences of relevance to young people.<\/p>\n
Funding will be given to activities of academic and non-academic nature in order to involve a wider audience. The projects must address one of the following topics:<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Youth, security and peace (e.g. prevention of violent extremism, climate change, gender equality);<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Digital world (with a particular focus on cyber security strategies)<\/p>\n
Eligible candidates:<\/p>\n
\u00b7 non-profit organizations, NGOs, public sector operators, local authorities, universities, think tanks, international organisations;<\/p>\n
\u00b7 these have to be established in a Member State of the European Union or in Canada;<\/p>\n
To participate, organizations must register on the PADOR platform and submit their applications in PROSPECT.<\/p>\n
