First edition of the National Day of Made in Italy
On April 15, 2024, on the occasion of the National Day of Made in Italy, the exhibition Un avant gout de design italien! was inaugurated in the reading room of the School of Architecture at Laval University in Quebec. The event, organized by Professor Fabio Sedia of the Faculty of Architecture, in collaboration with our Consulate and the Italian Cultural Institute, attracted numerous visitors and students.
The exhibition, presented by the director of the School of Architecture, Luis Casillas Gamboa, and the Honorary Consul in Quebec, Diego Mantovani, opened with a conference entitled “Architects, Objects, and Design” and will remain accessible to the public until June 28, 2024, allowing visitors to discover a remarkable selection of emblematic objects from the daily life of the famous Italian company Alessi.
