The Italian national men’s volleyball team was the star attraction at the National Sports Day and Republic Day celebrations in Quebec City.
In the provincial capital for the Volleyball Nations League, the Azzurri were the guests of honor at a reception hosted by the Consul General of Italy in Montreal, Enrico Pavone, in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Sports, Leisure and Outdoors, Chantal Marchand, and the President of Volley Québec, Guillaume Savard.
The Consul General also attended the morning’s match against Argentina, enthusiastically supporting the team from the stands, in the company of Under-Secretary for International Relations Elisa Valentin.
