Emergency Number
ONLY IN CASE OF PROVEN EMERGENCY SITUATIONS REGARDING ITALIAN CITIZENS (accidents, arrests, serious and urgent health problems, and so forth) the emergency number is available from Monday to Thursday from 5.00 pm to 9.00 pm; Friday from 3.00 pm to 9.00 pm; Saturday, Sunday and festive days from 9.00 am to 9.00 pm.
No consular service can be provided during the night when the Consulate General is closed.
In this regard, please pay attention to the time zone for calls from Italy.
Calls for ordinary consular practices, requests for information, requests for advance appointments for passports and citizenship will NOT be taken into consideration. For the latter, please contact the competent Consular Office by email during opening hours.
