On the occasion of the Italian Design Day 2024, the Consulate General of Italy in Montreal in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute is organizing the exhibition “100 Vases of Italian Design” (open from March 11 to 14 at the Italian Cultural Institute, 1200 Dr Penfield), highlighting Italian excellence in the field of design through the selection of 100 vases made from the beginning of the century to the present day.
The exhibition also includes a selection of lamps, made by iGuzzini, a leading Italian company in the architectural lighting sector.
Monday March 11 at 5 p.m. the exhibition will be opened with the presentations by Fabio Sedia, Professor School of Architecture, Faculty of Planning, Architecture, Art and Design, Laval University and Giovanni De Paoli, Professor Emeritus School of Architecture, Faculty of Planning, University of Montreal.
A vin d’honneur will be offered to participants. Access is free, subject to location’s capacity.
