Since April 24th, the new website InvestinItaly.gov.it has officially been online.
The portal presents the main investment opportunities offered by our country, with useful in-depth sheets on 13 strategic sectors for the national economy, on the main bureaucratic procedures, and on incentives available at the national level.
Of immediate usefulness is the section dedicated to settlement opportunities: over 250 public industrial sites greenfield, brownfield, and logistic are listed and immediately available to investors, with detailed information regarding the square footage, distance from main infrastructures, and eventual location in areas subject to particular incentivization. Foreign investors can also rely on the extensive presence of the diplomatic-consular network.
Also active is the Investor Visa for Italy program, which allows entry and long-term stay in Italy for non-EU citizens in exchange for an investment in our country. The program is characterized by reduced investment thresholds and the absence of minimum residence requirements, as a simple PEC address indication is sufficient. Applicants can access the dedicated portal, managed by MIMIT and available in English, at the following address.
Visa recipients obtain an investor residence permit, valid for two years and renewable for additional periods of three years, for the entire duration of the investment maintenance.
