Following the approval by the Council of Ministers of Decree-Law No. 36/2025 – currently in force – (which users are strongly encouraged to read carefully; the full text is available at the following link: www.gazzettaufficiale.it/eli/id/2025/03/28/25G00049/sg), the Consulate General had, as known, suspended all appointments for the submission of applications for the recognition of citizenship jure sanguinis, and had also suspended the scheduling of new appointments via the “Prenot@mi” portal.
The suspension has now been lifted, and the public is therefore informed that all appointments originally scheduled from April 14 onward are confirmed.
Users who had appointments originally scheduled on the suspended dates – that is, from March 31 to April 10 included – will receive an email notification informing them of the rescheduling of their appointment to a date after April 14.
