The European Union and Canada, in the framework of the Strategic Partnership Agreement (SPA) which aimed at political and sectoral collaboration, launched the call for applications “EU-Canada Youth Transatlantic Civil Society Dialogues”.
The aim is to make young Europeans and Canadians more involved in bilateral political processes through a platform where important civil society organisations can exchange information and experiences of relevance to young people.
Funding will be given to activities of academic and non-academic nature in order to involve a wider audience. The projects must address one of the following topics:
· Youth, security and peace (e.g. prevention of violent extremism, climate change, gender equality);
· Digital world (with a particular focus on cyber security strategies)
Eligible candidates:
· non-profit organizations, NGOs, public sector operators, local authorities, universities, think tanks, international organisations;
· these have to be established in a Member State of the European Union or in Canada;
To participate, organizations must register on the PADOR platform and submit their applications in PROSPECT.
Budget: 900,000 euro – Deadline: 10 July 2018
